Nissen, BBI 1118 (mistakenly calls for 96 plates). Of the greatest scarcity. Beautiful collection of 100 exquisitely hand coloured lithographs of ornamental flowering plants by the famed Swiss botanical artist Jonas David Labram (1785-1852). Labram is perhaps best remembered for the illustrations he made for Hegetschweiler’s ‘Sammlung von Schweizer Pflanzen’. - Binding rubbed; light marginal spotting.
