Franz Schmid (1796-1851) was one of the most important painters of topographical panoramas in the mid 19th Century. This is perhaps his most famed work including the famed Bernese Oberland and the capital city of Switzerland, Berne. - Binding rubbed; one fold with small tear; minor age toning along folds.
